Rooted Out
Wayne Allyn Root has left the WorldNetDaily columnist lineup, and he departed with the same Trump sycophancy and deranged hatred of liberals he brought with him.
WorldNetDaily’s incredible shrinking columnist lineup has shrunk even more: Wayne Allyn Root has apparently gone away. It’s not clear why, given that Root slavishly fulfills WND’s partisan agenda of bashing Democrats and slobbering over Donald Trump. Indeed, he kept up those agenda items before his departure. He did some of the former in a March 29 column demanding that Trump arrest and imprison his critics:
President Donald Trump is the G.O.A.T. (the greatest of all time). His first two months have been a work of art. My fans love him. But one thing is missing. One thing that matters above all else:
WHERE ARE THE ARRESTS?
[…]
Here is what average everyday Americans know:
They know the “resistance judges” desperate to block Trump’s agenda are dirty. They are on the payroll of either the deep state or our foreign enemies. Where are the investigations? Where are the arrests?
They know the Democrat politicians and RINOs blocking Trump’s agenda are on the deep state payroll. Where are the arrests?
Attorney General Pam Bondi said on the Sunday morning shows that she will defund cities and states that block the mass deportation. But that’s not enough.
Where are the arrests of the politicians and government officials who are breaking the law, protecting the criminals and blocking the deportations?
Alejandro Mayorkas was the guy who carried out the intentional destruction of America through the open border. So, why isn’t he under arrest?
They believe George Soros is a key figure behind all of this. They believe he is the guy funding the resistance. They believe he is funding this coup against Trump. They believe he was funding the open border. Soros’ Open Society Foundations offices were just raided in India. Why aren’t we raiding his offices in America? Where are the arrests?
They believe all roads lead to Barack Obama. The American people know Joe Biden’s presidency was really Obama’s third term. Obama was giving the orders. Obama ordered the weaponization of government and the spying on Trump. These are serious crimes. So, where are the arrests?
They all love what Elon Musk is doing with DOGE. He has uncovered the looting of America. It’s great he’s exposing all this theft, it’s great he’s clawing back the money, but …
Where are the arrests of all these corrupt government bureaucrats who stole the money?
We know the Biden Crime Family and Clinton Crime Family extorted and stole perhaps hundreds of millions of dollars. Where are the arrests?
We know the government censored and silenced conservatives – in conjunction with the media, social media and even Stanford University. Mark Zuckerberg confessed in writing. Where are the arrests?
They know Dr. Anthony Fauci lied about everything involving COVID research and origins. They know he covered up deaths from the vaccine, and millions are dead or badly injured because of his lies and greed. Fauci committed “crimes against humanity.” Where are the arrests?
They know USAID was the CIA’s slush fund used to fund corruption, crime, media propaganda and Democrat Party scams. Where are the arrests?
They know the Ukraine war was one big money-laundering operation. Where are the arrests?
They know Kamala Harris’ all-time-record $1.5 billion campaign war chest was a scam. Most of that money came from illegal foreign donations. Where are the arrests?
They know that a climate change organization tied to Stacey Abrams, with $100 in revenues, was given $2 billion by the Biden administration. The money has been clawed back. But where are the arrests?
I could go on and on for hours.
[…]
Because we all believe that no matter how great President Trump is, and no matter how hard he tries, without mass arrests of the bad guys, without severe punishment, without justice, the corruption will never end, and we will never make America great again.
That’s the one thing that’s missing so far.
Root served up a bizarre conspiracy theory in his May 24 column claiming that former President Biden’s prostate cancer was caused by COVID vaccines:
There are only a few possible explanations for the announcement we heard days ago about Joe Biden having aggressive Stage 4 prostate cancer.
All of them are bad.
[…]
What no one is mentioning is, in addition to all those scandals above …
Was the COVID vaccine responsible for Biden’s aggressive Stage 4 cancer?Biden’s own closest aides have disclosed he had a severe reaction to the first COVID vaccine in late December 2020. They say he went downhill dramatically from that day forward. He was never the same.
We all know – and I have hundreds of studies from around the world to prove it – the COVID jab has caused not only neurological issues such as dementia and Alzheimer’s but also the current dramatic increase in cancer around the world, and most importantly, a new category of cancer called “turbo cancer,” meaning cancer that grows and spreads faster than doctors have ever seen before.
So, maybe Biden was covering up prostate cancer for several years, but it may not have been Stage 4 aggressive cancer until he took a series of COVID jabs and boosters. And then a normal slow growing cancer exploded into “turbo cancer.”
Which brings up a series of additional questions. How many COVID vaccines did Biden receive? On what dates? When did his cancer become aggressive Stage 4? I’m betting right after his most recent booster.
Root then spewed old anti-Biden conspiracy theories:
Lastly, I will state my opinion about Joe Biden. It’s not pretty.
This man was a disaster for America. This man was evil. His socialist policies badly damaged the economy and almost wiped out the great American middle class.
His policies killed jobs and created the worst inflation of our lifetimes. Then his administration gaslighted us with lies about millions of jobs that never existed. That was Soviet-level propaganda.
Biden opened the borders and welcomed in a foreign invasion. Among the millions who came in were criminals, rapists, murderers, terrorists and gangbangers from MS-13 and Tren de Aragua. Americans were robbed, raped and murdered. Biden didn’t care.
Biden ordered a mandate to force millions of Americans to take an experimental, emergency-use-only vaccine, or lose their jobs. The latest studies report 500,000 to 600,000 Americans died from the vaccine – more than World War I, World War II and Vietnam combined. Millions of others were injured, crippled and disabled. Biden didn’t care.
Then Biden ordered massive censorship and silencing of conservatives and anyone who asked questions about the COVID vaccine deaths.
And of course, we all know Biden stole the 2020 election – the worst theft and fraud in world history.
Needless to say, Root offers no proof that the election was stolen, COVID vaccines killed that many people (or anyone, actually) or that Biden’s prostate cancer was caused or exacerbated by the COVID vaccine.
Briefly fretting over Epstein
Wayne Allyn Root began his July 9 WorldNetDaily column with some serious self-aggrandizement:
There are 2 things I’m known for …
1. I’m the most fiery and loyal champion, celebrator and defender of President Donald J. Trump- the greatest patriot and President of my lifetime.
2. Raw truth – I tell it like it is – no matter who it offends.
Exhibit A – I stuck my neck out and risked my career to play the role of Paul Revere, to warn the nation about the dangerous and deadly Covid vaccine from the first day. And then I spent the past four and a half years reporting on credible studies proving this is mass murder and crimes against humanity. I never let up for one second- even when my career and life were threatened. Nothing stops me from calling it as I see it.
Actually, Root is known for spreading misinformation and falsehoods and COVID and its vaccines — not to mention spreading COVID itself. He then declared that “I need to warn President Trump about trouble brewing that threatens his presidency, legacy and the future of MAGA.” After a lot of Trump-fluffing, Root finally got to the point:
I’m going to today play Paul Revere. “Big problems are coming. Big problems are coming.” President Trump has a problem, and he needs to hear about it and deal with it, before it gets out of control.
I’m referring to the announcement that there is no Epstein list.
I’m sorry, but no one is buying it. It looks silly. It looks arrogant. It looks like a cover-up. It looks like President Trump is protecting evil leaders in D.C. – who are being blackmailed by the Deep State. This is serious.
Many of President Trump’s biggest supporters are angry, shocked and disillusioned like I’ve never seen before.
They feel we can never defeat the Deep State unless this list is released. They feel this is a terrible betrayal of President Trump’s promise on the campaign trail to release the list. They think if this stands, his word can no longer be trusted.
Mr. President, please don’t shoot the messenger. I’m just telling you what MAGA nation is saying, feeling and thinking.
You promised to release the list. Pam Bondi said she was reviewing the list. Now suddenly, there is no list? Your own supporters see this as a typical D.C. conspiracy, cover-up, and the worst lie you’ve ever told. They don’t care about the reasons you have. They want it reversed N-O-W.
This problem is growing. It’s getting worse every day. You need to deal with it immediately. Your credibility is on the line.
Yep, Root has joined with the rest of WND in pushing Epstein conspiracy-mongering. He continued to fret:
The entire future of MAGA is on the line. Give a speech to the nation. Explain why what happened, happened. And then announce you’re reversing your decision.
The Epstein list must be released.
We need to hear the names. End their careers. End the blackmail. Destroy the Deep State. Cleanse the soul of our nation. Let the chips fall where they may.
MAGA and the American people will not only forgive you when they hear the dilemma you faced, they will love and support you forever more.
Because they’ll understand you are the only man in history with the cojones and integrity to reverse a decision like this.
Like the rest of WND, Root seems not to have considered the possibility that the reason Trump is blocking release of the supposed list is because he’s on it.
Root then spent his July 19 column spinning away the Epstein stuff to suck up even more to Trump:
No, I’m not telling you to not be upset or disappointed about the Epstein decision. I am, too.
No, I’m not telling you not to complain, not to vent your anger.
I disagree with the decision, too. I urged President Donald Trump to reconsider and either release the Epstein files or name a special counselor.
And the good news is, he has responded. He just ordered Attorney General Pam Bondi to release all grand jury testimony. That’s a smart decision.
Because this Epstein list controversy was obscuring the list that matters most: the long, superhuman list of achievements that Trump has accomplished to start his second term.
This Epstein controversy has been obscuring the fact that this has been the greatest start to any presidency in history. And a remarkable past two weeks. And even a remarkable past 24 hours. Trump is hitting home runs.
Except for Epstein.
[…]
So, I’d like everyone who is still angry at President Trump over the Epstein decision to just think about what America would look like right now, and what your lives would look like right now, if Kamala Harris had been elected.
Think long and hard about this one. And then thank God for President Trump – with or without the response you want with the Epstein files.
Root then spent spent much of the rest of his column making up stuff about what a Kamala Harris presidency would be like “You might be stuck in a ’15-minute city,’ where you’d need permission from government to drive more than 15 minutes from your home.” (Root is lying.) He ranted about “transgender brainwashing in school, and transgender hiring, and transgenders in the military” and baselessly declared that “We’d already be in World War III” and “America would be a one-party state with rigged elections for the rest of all time.” Um, isn’t that what Root’s fellow right-wingers are trying to do right now?
Root concluded by literally telling Republicans to get over it: “Are you still mad at Trump? Maybe a little, but you’ll get over it. Think about the alternative. Now thank God for Trump.”
More Trump sycophancy
It wouldn’t be Root if he wasn’t gushing over Trump. His Aug. 2 column served up tips for Trump that would “make his achievements permanent, and his legacy lasting”; first on the list is to “Pass voter photo ID for all federal elections,” in which he rehashed never-proven conspiracy theories:
This is how the ball was dropped the last time Trump was president. The GOP Congress had the ability to pass anything they wanted from 2016 to 2018. Yet they never passed voter photo ID for all federal elections. That was the missed opportunity of a lifetime.
That was why the GOP lost the midterms in 2018 and then Trump lost the 2020 presidential election. Democrats stole both elections with mail-in ballots, ballot harvesting and ballot drop boxes. They beat us with fake ballots, all built around no voter ID.
And so far, the GOP is repeating the same mistake. This GOP Congress can pass anything it wants for another 18 months.
If voter photo ID isn’t passed before the 2026 midterms, then the GOP has no interest in winning elections. Period.
Root can’t be bothered to prove any of that, of course.
Root’s final WND column, on Aug. 16, served up his usual nastiness for anyone who’s not as far-right as he is:
My career on American TV spans five decades. I started as a sportscaster and TV host for CNBC in 1989. And of course, I’ve spent the past two decades talking politics on TV.
But few realize I’ve also created and produced several hit reality TV shows – including one of the most successful shows on cable TV for over 20 seasons.
And I have an exciting new reality TV idea. The name of the show is …
“Can White Liberal Journalists Survive a Night on the Streets of Washington, D.C.?”
[…]
Liberals will never learn a lesson just sitting in the back of a police car, protected by armed police, watching other people suffer crime, violence and tragedy.
I have an idea that will really bring home the gravity and reality of the situation.
We need a reality TV show – and keep in mind I’m good at this. The shows I’ve created and produced have all been big TV hits.
My new idea would garner the biggest reality TV audience ever. Americans would tune in by the millions. This might rival Super Bowl ratings!
On my new reality TV show, we drop off white liberal journalists with nice watches, gold chains, wedding bands and wallets of cash, in the middle of Washington, D.C., after dark, and then follow them with cameras as they walk the mean streets of D.C. until sunrise.
Can a white liberal journalist survive a night on the streets of D.C. unscathed? I’m betting no.
I’m betting they wind up like the DOGE employee known as “Big Balls” who was car-jacked and beaten to a pulp just days ago in D.C.
My reality TV show will prove liberals – as always – are wrong about everything.
Perhaps a better idea for a show is for Root to put his money where his mouth is and see if he can survive a night on D.C. streets. Given that crime was decreasing well before Trump launched his military crackdown, he would probably be just fine — just like the white liberals he wants to exploit.
We doubt that concern about Root’s scruples is why he was dropped as a columnist — it is likely a cost-cutting move as WND’s revenue dwindles due to the fact that it has so discredited itself over the years that nobody believes it.
